    I like the idea that prayer isn”t a substitute for work. I think it’’s all too easy to pray for something, and then sit back expecting it to magically happen.

    It would certainly be easy enough for God to act unilaterally, but I think God often wants us engaged in the process.

    What I really liked about this quote is how it hints at being empowered in Christ through prayer which then opens the door to what would otherwise be impossible.
