Going off of the list at Necessary Therapy, and assuming that Pistol Pete is the 3rd in line, I guess I’m #4 in the Six Degrees of Separation Internet tagging game known as Meme (?).

Rules of the game:

  1. Pick up the nearest book of 123 pages or more. No cheating!
  2. Find Page 123
  3. Find the first 5 sentences
  4. Post the next 3 sentences
  5. Tag 5 people

Since “The Pistol” was gracious enough to think about me, I’ll play along (we don’t want Molly at Adventures in Mercy & Jemila at Quirky Grace beating up on The Pistol on my account for throwing a monkey wrench into their plans).

Pistol Pete’s response from The New Westminster Dictionary of the Bible:

?The 39 books of the O.T. and the 27 of the N.T., which constitute the canon of Scripture, do not represent the entire literary activity of the Hebrews during the time embraced by the canon. There were, for example, the books of the Apocrypha. Later there were memoirs of Jesus (Luke 1:1).?

And your’s truly adds:

“Sure do,” Poke had said, and pokerized the guy right on the spot. Got him dead-bang between the eyes with the .357 Mag. Poor sucker probably never even knew what had hit him.

A tale of the Old Wild West, vengeance, gambling, and other vices?

Nope!

Hint/Plot Summary:

Synopsis: One man escapes from a biological weapon facility after an accident, carrying with him the deadly virus known as Captain Tripps, a rapidly mutating flu that - in the ensuing weeks - wipes out most of the world’s population. In the aftermath, survivors choose between following an elderly black woman to Boulder or the dark man, Randall Flagg, who has set up his command post in Las Vegas. The two factions prepare for a confrontation between the forces of good and evil.

I tagged you on Feb. 4. Sniff.

    Christopher says:

Yes, and like the numb-skull that I was/am, I left my answers as a comment on your blog, instead of creating a post. Thankfully Pistol Pete set me straight on how to play. I will correct my errant ways. Would it help if I mimicked an Eddie Izzard dance move for you? ;)

  2. Jen Says:

Okay, fun, but I’m “tagging illiterate.” Can somebody please give me a “tagging” lesson because I honestly don’t have a clue how to tag another blog and “I want to play!!!”

Well, I am obviously the wrong guy to ask that question. ;) Ref: My quick kiss-up to Cathy B.
