1st Timothy 4:7 is a verse dealing with instructions that Paul the Apostle gave to his assistant Timothy concerning the care of the church in Ephesus. Paul knew that he would not be returning to see Timothy; therefore, he wanted to leave him with sound advice on how to care for the church.
